SHG Subsidy Scheme 2026 : Women’s Self-Help Groups Can Get Up to ₹2 Lakh Assistance

The Women’s Self-Help Group (SHG) Subsidy Scheme has been introduced to provide financial support to eligible women’s self-help groups belonging to the Christian community in Karnataka. Under the scheme, eligible groups can receive a subsidy of 50% of the unit cost or up to a maximum of ₹2 lakh, subject to the applicable conditions.

The financial assistance is intended to encourage women to take up self-employment and income-generating activities. The subsidy is linked to loans obtained from nationalised banks, scheduled banks, or financial institutions recognised by the RBI for eligible self-employment activities.

Women’s self-help groups that meet the prescribed conditions can submit their applications online before the deadline.

Last Date to Apply

The last date for submitting applications is September 30, 2026.
